What is Shannen Doherty's net worth?
As of June 14, 2023, Doherty has an estimated net worth of $5 million according to Celebrity Net Worth but that figure is likely larger following her $6.3 million lawsuit win in 2021.
On Monday, October 4, 2021, it was revealed that Doherty had won the multi-million dollar lawsuit against State Farm after they failed to pay policy benefits for Doherty’s Malibu home following damage from a 2018 California wildfire.
A federal jury in California found the company’s failure “unreasonable and without proper cause.”
Following the decision, State Farm released a statement saying: “We empathize with Ms. Doherty’s health and wish her the best."

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and had previously gone into remission after a mastectomy and chemotherapy treatments.
Unfortunately, in February of 2020, court documents pertaining to her lawsuit revealed that her cancer was back.
"Plaintiff Shannen Doherty is dying of stage 4 terminal cancer," the court documents stated.
"Instead of living out her remaining years peacefully in her home, Ms. Doherty remains displaced and battling with her insurance company."
On November 29, 2023, Doherty told People that her stage 4 breast cancer had recently spread to her bones, revealing: "I don't want to die."
She added: “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better."
The star also opened up about her upcoming "memoir-style" podcast, which premieres on iHeartRadio on December 6.
Let's Be Clear With Shannen Doherty will discuss "everything from career highlights and past relationships to the numerous stages of [Doherty's] illness and health regimens."
The star hopes to raise awareness of the disease along with funds for cancer research.
She told People: “It’s insane to me [that] we still don’t have a cure.”
This isn't Doherty's first time speaking publicly about her cancer diagnosis.
In June 2023, Doherty revealed that her cancer had spread to her brain.
She had undergone surgery in February 2023 to remove a brain tumor.
She called the experience “one of the scariest things I’ve ever been through in my entire life.”
Back on October 7, 2021, Doherty also opened up about her battle with stage 4 breast disease in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Doherty posted two photos on Instagram: one was a selfie with her head bald from chemotherapy treatment and a bloody tissue in her nose, while the other was a snap of her sleeping.
"For breast cancer awareness month, I’d like to share more of my own personal journey from my first diagnosis to my second."
"Is it all pretty? NO, but it’s truthful and my hope in sharing is that we all become more educated, more familiar with what cancer looks like," Doherty wrote in the caption.
She later went on to urge fans to get screened regularly, writing, "I hope I encourage people to get mammograms, to get regular checkups, to cut thru [sic] the fear and face whatever might be in front of you."
Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the United States and affects more than 200,000 people a year.
