Let your kids be the head chef in their own kitchen at the Lil’ Chef School Summer Camp! Whether your kid likes to bake, roast, sauté, fry, or whip, kids will be able to take home all their cooking creations. All chefs get to tie on their apron and start cooking. Kids will also be taught kitchen safety and the use of the various cooking utensils. Programs are available for Tiny Chefs – 4 to 7, Lil’ Chefs 5-13 and Teen Chefs 12-17.

Soar high above the city to see for miles around in the Great Park Balloon at the Orange County Great Park. Check out the Farm + Food Lab for an interesting look at gardening and farming – attend Story Time in the Garden, visit the hens laying eggs, and take a class on canning produce. Kids will also love the Kids Rock playground, which uses climbing rocks, underground tunnels, lakes and streams on the recycled rubber flooring to educate little ones about ecology and the conservation of water. This free public park is the perfect place to inspire your children to connect with the natural world.

Let your kids glide across the water at the Pirate Coast Paddle Company, offering 5-day camps packed with water-soaked adventure. Campers will be taught stand up paddle boarding, marine education and water safety all while learning balance, control, steering and paddle technique. Kids will leave the camp better prepared for summer-long paddling excursions. Camps run from 9am to 12:30pm for ages 7 to 12.
